Growing up.....

It is so fascinating to watch my baby grow up, but also makes me kinda sad, b/c my baby IS growing up sooo fast. He is learning how to feed himself with a spoon now, and that is just another way of him starting to become independent. I was thrilled that he caught on so fast to feeding himself, and even though it will take much more time before he has it down pat, the realization is finally setting in that he will be 1 yr old in 1 month. My, where has the time gone????

"Get the Kitty!"

All we have to do is say "get the kitty" to Tyler, and boy is he all over his best friend Logan. Actually, she is the only one who will put up with him bodyslamming on top of her while she is in the crib. He loves to grab big handfulls of kitty and try to eat her!!! It's quite amazing really to see how she reacts to him, because if anyone other than me or Tyler touches her on the rear/tail, she will nail them with her claws. But boy does she love her baby!!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

My 1st Thanksgiving!!!!! I was sleeping at Uncle Jeffs when my dad's side of the family were eating, but then it was off to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Hoffmans (mom's side) to chow down. Great Grandpa wasn't there b/c he was in the hospital, which made everyone sad, but on a lighter note, I really chowed down on some mashed taters, sweet taters, turkey, and stuffing. I am loving this feeding myself idea. It may be messy, but boy is it fun!!!

Railway Incline

This freaked us out the most because we went so high up and it was a very steep incline. It's like being on a rollercoaster, just not fast like one. But the views from it were amazing too!!!

Ruby Falls

Ruby Falls is an underground waterfall, and you have to walk through the underground caves to get to it. I think it is like over 1000 foot underground! Awesome formations are all around, and the waterfall is amazing.

Rock City

Rock City is basically a beautiful park that has waterfalls, cliffs, and breathtaking views. Home to Lover's Leap and Fat Mans Squeeze, just to name a few. Very cool place!

Road Trip!!

Jason and I took a road trip to visit one of our closest friends, Doug. He lives in Tennesee so it was kind of a long drive, but so worth it. Tyler stayed at home with Jason's parents, but he will get to go next time. We got to see Ruby Falls which is an underground waterfall, Rock City, where you can see 7 states at one time and is a park similar to Old Mans Cave, and the Incline trolley, which takes you up the mountain and then back down. That was very very scary!!!! The trip was wonderfull, and we are looking forward to going back!!!!

Check out the Bunnies

After trick or treating, me, Jason, Amy and Aaron went to Gatsbys in Gahanna to have some adult fun at their costume party. Amy and I went as bunnies, but the boys were bumps on a log and didn't dress up.

Trick or Treat

We went trick or treating with Sophie and her parents Amy and Aaron in Amy's mom Cris's neighborhood, who is also my babysitter. I was Tigger and Sophie was the HoneyPot.

Playing in the leaves

Daddy didn't want mommy to put me in the pile of leaves for fear of getting bugs on me, but mommy snuck anyway while daddy was cutting the grass! She's so sneaky!!!
